Taylor Murrow is a writer and editor from New Orleans, currently living in Sacramento. Her work has appeared in Pelican Bomb, Burnaway, Room 220, Curbed, plain china, and The Tulane Review, and she has contributed essays to the exhibition catalogues Prospect.3: Notes for Now and Prospect.4: The Lotus in Spite of the Swamp, as well as the 2012 publication The Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art. She was previously the editor of museum publications at the New Orleans Museum of Art, where she edited and produced content related to the museum’s exhibitions and collections. She is a co-founder and producer of Dogfish Reading Series, a literary reading series that was based in New Orleans. She holds a BA in English Writing from Loyola New Orleans. She currently works in healthcare communications and is working on a memoir-based book project.
